So we thought we would clear the air and put minds at ease.

Secure Shopping

Orders placed on our site are encrypted using SSL technology*, so you can rest assured that your transactions are protected. With SSL implemented on both the client and server, information sent via the Internet can be trusted to arrive privately and unaltered to our server. In order for SSL security to work, you must use an SSL enabled browser. Most browsers, version 3.x and later, support SSL. If you still have any concerns about ordering electronically, feel free to call 800-309-2500 and place your order over the phone. Have the style number, size and color ready for each item you wish to order

Other Issues we feel should be touched upon are ethical and compliance issues.

Collected Information

Personal information you provide to us while creating or updating an account* and at checkout (ie: name, address, telephone number, email address, billing address, ship-to address and credit card information) is maintained in private files on our secure web server and on our internal systems. We also use cookies** to collect product and purchase information from the pages you access or visit. This information may be combined with other identifiable personal information (such as demographic and past purchase information) from our records and other sources. We may use this combined information for future marketing initiatives and to help us improve our website presentation and your overall shopping experience.

If you still have concerns feel free to check out out Privacy and Security page.

Our merchandise assortment for the most part is the same for both, although we do often have online only merchandise that can only be purchased through the website, non the less you are still able to return it in store. The visual aesthetic of our virtual store and our actual store are the same. We try to bring you a cohesive life styled brand, our merchandise is displayed on women in great settings so that you really feel the ambiance of our brand. Just like our online store, our physical store feels more like a home when you walk in, its where everything you need is set up in a corky fun way.

From time to time our prices may vary from online to the physical store, there are times where are markdowns havent reached our stores to match our online. But when this does happen, be sure to mention this to us at the register and we will be more than happy to make a price adjustment for you.

All in al both our brick and mortar and click to click stores are pretty similar, we try our best to keep it all cohesive for you.

Cake Recipe
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
2 1/3 cups sugar
5 large egg whites at room temperature
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups milk at room temperature
Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue, food coloring, the purple and orange can be made with the primary colors.
vegetable shortening

Buttercream and Frosting Recipe

for the filling
9 large egg whites
1 3/4 cups white granulated sugar
2 cups unsalted butter, cut into small pieces, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla

for the frosting
4 large egg whites
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces, room temperature

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. For this recipe you will need 9-inch-round cake pans. This cake has 6 layers so if you have 6 cake pans use those otherwise re-use the same cake pan as necessary. Line the bottom of each cake pan with parchment paper and brush with vegetable shortening.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugar. Slowly add egg whites and mix until well combined. Add vanilla and mix until fully incorporated. Add flour mixture and milk in two alternating additions, beginning with the flour and ending with the milk.

Divide batter evenly between six medium bowls. Add enough of each color of food coloring to each bowl, whisking, until desired shade is reached.

Transfer each color to an individual cake pan. Transfer to oven and bake for 10-15 minutes then remove the cakes and transfer to a wire rack and let cool for at least 10 minutes.

Make the butter cream by cooking the egg whites and the sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking constantly until sugar is completely dissolved. Then transfer to the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment; mix on high speed until the egg whites peak. With the mixer on medium-low, add butter, one piece at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then remove the whisk attachment and switch to the paddle attachment. Increase speed to high and beat until buttercream comes together, about 5 minutes; beat in vanilla extract.

Spread a scant ½-1 cup buttercream filling over the first layer of the cake with a spatula so it extends just beyond edges. Repeat process with blue, green, yellow, and orange layers.

Make the frosting by repeating step number 6.

Place the remaining red layer on top. Using an offset spatula, cover the top and sides with a thin layer of frosting. and refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.

She frequently works with unusual or found materials and dips into other media whenever she feels like it. Last year she got a much deserved traveling retrospective, “Sheila Hicks: 50 Years,” organized by the Addison Gallery of American Art. Her work will be included in the 30th Sao Paulo Biennial in September. This Friday, Chelsea’s Sikkema Jenkins & Co. debuts an exhibition that features pieces from the late-1950’s until today- think of it as a mini retrospective that shows off some of the best of her hard-to-categorise work. the show runs through May 25th.

Its that time of the year again, summer is around the corner and its time to entertain guests. Cocktails at a dinner party are a must, here are a few of our favorites that are sure to please everyones pallet.

B & B (Blakberi & Basil)

This cocktail recipe gives new meaning to a “B&B.” It’s delicious for individual cocktails and a great option for warm-weather pitcher drinks.

Ingredients Per Cocktail

1 part Stoli Blakberi

French or Italian sparkling

lemonade (in bottles at specialty food stores) or San Pellegrino Sparkling Lemon Beverage (in cans)

Fresh basil to taste

Preparation

Muddle basil with Stoli Blakberi.

Serve on rocks and top off with Italian sparkling lemonade. Garnish with additional basil leaves.

Blakberry Blues

Ingredients Per Cocktail

2 parts Stoli Blakberi

1 part Stoli Blueberi

1 part cranberry juice

1 part simple syrup

Splash of raspberry liqueur

Squeeze of lemon

Fresh sage to taste and to garnish

Preparation

Muddle sage. Combine with ingredients, shake vigorously over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Garnish with one blueberry, one blackberry and sage.

Mint Summer Night-ini

A refreshing cocktail that’s perfect for spring or summer. For a regular Blakberi Martini, just substitute Blakberi for the vodka in your favorite recipe, or shake 1 part with ice and strain into a martini glass.

Ingredients Per Cocktail

2 parts Stoli Blakberi

1 part fresh cucumber juice

Splash of simple syrup

Mint leaves to taste and for garnish

Preparation

Muddle mint leaves and shake ingredients over ice. Strain into chilled martini glass.

Garnish with sprig of mint and thin slices of cucumber.

Blakberi Lavender Fizz

Lavender delivers heavenly aromatics with a unique flavor. Fresh lavender is only available in the warm weather, so make hay while the sun shines.

Ingredients Per Cocktail

2 parts Stoli Blakberi

1 part fresh lemon juice

1 part fresh lime juice

1 part lavender-infused agave
nectar syrup

Club soda

Fresh culinary lavender (or
organic, pesticide-free lavender)
to garnish

Preparation

Shake ingredients together over ice. Strain into a Collins glass with ice and top with soda.

Garnish with fresh lavender and a lime wheel.
